Words cannot describe Matt Branscombe’s talent, but we will do our best to explain him and his work. We knew from the moment we saw his portfolio we wanted Matt to capture our wedding day in pictures. To have photographer who you can trust on this important day of your lives is difficult, but Matt put us at ease as we knew he’d catch every memory. His pictures are inspiring to even look at, and if you have an opportunity to work with him then you are a head of pack. Matt is professional, captivating and personable. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and our story is told in his photos. He captured the littlest details of our wedding as well as the full ambiance of our day. Matt is easy to work with and works quickly to get the bride and groom back to their guests –which is much appreciated. We were also grateful that he didn’t pose us, but rather gave us space to naturally smile, laugh and love one another which he seized the moment. Our pictures are absolutely amazing and his work is like no other. When you do have the chance to work with Matt, you can rest easy knowing you are in the best hands this business has to offer.

Working with BSC Photo was actually a pleasurable experience. It wasn’t like having to interview other vendors, rather it was like planning something with a friend. Matt and his assistant were like ninjas throughout our wedding day When we saw some of the pictures (and how amazing they were) we had to ask ourselves, “Did you see Matt at this point? Matt and his team were a dream to work with for the mock wedding photo shoot at Worthington Pond Farms.
From the moment I emailed Matt I could tell he was professional and was going to be easy to work with.

He provided me with a lot of information for the photo shoot and also included a very detailed “vision board” that he and his team had come up with.

The day of the shoot went perfectly, smoother than I had anticipated. He was so easy to bounce ideas off of and was willing to collaborate with all the vendors involved. He stayed on schedule and gave direction very well of what shoot we were going to be doing next.

The photo shoot lasted well into the evening and Matt’s sense of humor came out towards the end. He is great to laugh with too!

I can’t say enough good things about Matt and his team. Truly a pleasure to work with and someone I will definitely refer to my clients!

My husband and I found out about BSC Photo after our friends booked them for their wedding. We looked at their website first and loved their refreshing, creative style. We booked them as soon as we could (over a year in advance) and were relieved they still had the date available. We first met Matt for our engagement picture session. He drove across the state to meet us at one of our favorite parks and immediately knew where the best shooting spots were. He was very thorough and we loved the pictures.

We also got in touch with Matt several times before our wedding to choose packages or ask general questions. He is so quick to respond to emails and is very professional and friendly as well. He made sure that we had everything we wanted. At our wedding, Matt and Mike took thousands of pictures and made sure to capture every important minute. When the time we selected for them to take pictures was up, they came over to say goodbye. We asked them to stay an extra hour to take more pictures and they agreed immediately.

Matt has gradually been putting up all of the pictures on his website for us to see, and we love every one! We cannot thank Matt and Mike enough for the gorgeous, emotional, sentimental, and fun pictures they took of our wedding. We can’t wait to see the rest of our pictures and our wedding book! Once again, thank you so much for beautifully capturing the spirit of our wedding last summer. Our photographs are beautiful, and they will be cherished for a lifetime.

As a same-sex couple, we were anxious to find a photographer that we were comfortable with, and that was comfortable with us. What drew us to BSC initially was your artistry: you guys are true artists, and you live and breathe photography (we happen to be lucky that you like photographing weddings!). What sealed the deal was meeting Matt. He
came to our house, made us feel comfortable, and acted with the utmost professionalism. He seemed genuinely excited about photography, the weddings he had been apart of, and helping us to create our special day.

On our wedding day, Matt and Mike found a way to be in what seemed like five places at once, capturing every special moment. Not once did we feel pushed around or rushed. You felt more like guests (old friends!), who happened to be amazing photographers.

You guys are true workaholics, in the best way possible. You posted (amazing) shots of the wedding on the same day as the wedding! A few days later, there were even more shots on the blog. It was such treat, for us and our families and friends, to have such instant gratification. Many of our friends have waited months before seeing anything from their wedding photographers. BSC is definitely tech savvy, and you used it to keep us informed about our photos every step of the way.

When we did see all of the photographs, we were so overwhelmed. They were all amazing! You have such a gift for capturing beautiful images, with every click of the camera. We also loved the Thank You cards you created for us (with our photos). It’s great that you have an entire creative team, for designing everything we could think up.

We’ve recommended BSC to everyone we know, though really we don’t have to. Everyone’s seen our photos, and they all want BSC’s number before we can mention it! We’ve had two friends already book their weddings with BSC, and another who could not get BSC because they were already booked. Soon, I think brides and grooms will be choosing their weddings dates based on BSC’s availability!

Our family loved you guys, and I so hope Alvin and Awilda use you for there wedding next year. The pictures are absolutely amazing! We love them. It is probably going to take a few days for us to pick the complimentary prints, because we are partial to so many, and I know that I am going to want to buy a ton more. I am sure that our parents are going to go crazy for them, too.

I have to say, I pretty much never like pictures of myself, and I like all of these. After seeing these Jeff and I are even more excited for our wedding pictures.

From the very first interaction I had with Matt and Mike at BSC Photography, I had this peace and sense of calmness about the photography portion of my wedding. As a typical girl planning a wedding, I had my checklists and my timelines… after checking “photographer” off my list, I had more time to worry about cakes tilting in the heat, rain showering down, high heeled shoes sinking into the ground, crazy uncles who might drink too much and all of the other idiosyncrasies that go into making a wedding a wedding… and I rested assured that Matt would be there to catch all of those idiosyncrasies on film!

Matt went above and beyond photography and taking pictures in my wedding planning process. When Chris and I had a disastrous interview with a DJ, Matt was able to recommend an amazing DJ he had previously worked with. When I stressed about a gloomy weather forecast, Matt assured me that 1) it had never rained on a wedding day that he was involved with and 2) even if it did rain, he would capture us embracing the rain and having the time of our life despite a little weather hiccup. Every step of the way, Matt and Mike were absolutely on top of their game, so professional and so involved. BSC Photography made Chris and I feel like we weren’t just the wedding penciled in for May 24th, 2009, we were the Lobster / Clambake Wedding in Guilford where the bride was wearing red Valentino shoes and made her own wedding cake.

The day of the wedding, Matt and Mike were simply amazing. They took all of the typical pictures that my grandma and great aunt will want to see, but, most importantly, also took the pictures that Chris and I will look back on and will instantly bring us back to the incredibly joyous moment. They captured the ringbearer taking a snooze under a tree while the other ringbearer snuck a sip of champagne. They captured my red shoes. They captured the messy deliciousness of guests attempting to crack lobsters.

Matt and Mike made the perfect photography team. While Matt was more vocal in making sure certain pictures happened, such as my idea to have Chris and my rings slipped onto a lobster’s claws, Mike was behind the scenes ready to catch kisses being stolen and lobster bibs being tied on.

Thank you, Matt and Mike, for documenting and capturing our wedding day. You were truly amazing!

Our INCREDIBLE photographer was very professional and its amazing the that looking back at our pictures i dont even remember taking half the pictures that we have because it was like he wasnt even there, but got all of the shots.. he had great ideas for pictures, like my husband and myself running towards the camera with our bridal party running in the background.. everyone always comments on that one.. its super cool! The picture of myself and my best guy friends dancing in a huddle(like the many times its been done before) and getting a great shot from under neath(never even saw a camera!) Matt was amazing, and im pretty sure he booked 2 weddings from guests at my wedding that were impressed with his attire, professionalism, BEAUTIFUL pictures and very comfortable, friendly personality!!!

Matt is a very genuine, honest, and caring person.. there is no one i would rather refer(and have) to anyone in my friends and family circle… anything other said about him is a lie.. talk to him for 10 minutes and you’ll fall in love.. he is a sweet person with an amazing eye for what he does. in my mothers words, he just has a different way of seeing things and takes a beautiful and unique picture you wouldnt get from anyone else

Matt & Mike captured every moment that I wanted frozen in time. The photos they took really tell the entire story of our special day and I will forever be grateful for these images of the best day of my life!

The action shots must have been a challenge for them since no one stopped dancing the entire 5 hours! However, they got spectacular shots of the crowd that really highlighted the amazing energy in the room. Of course they captured the most amazing photo of the night – my 80 year old grandma dancing on the table!

I had so many people come up to me at the end of the day and tell me how fabulous the photographer’s pictures must be. They were a perfect combination of professional and fun! I felt like a movie star the entire night.

Before the wedding, I talked with Matt about my fiancé and his amazingly short attention span. I loved what I had seen of Matt and Mike’s work and wanted our photos to rock, but I had been worried if they were getting too close during the ceremony my fiancé would stop looking at me and start looking at them. After voicing my concerns, Matt assured me that they would be conscious of their movements. When the day arrived, Matt stayed true to his word. Even our guests did not notice as they moved around to get some breathtaking shots. Matt and Mike were great getting every kind of photo – candids, action shots, and portraits.
Both Matt and Mike were cool and laid back (my MoH said that she could see herself being good friends with both of them lol). Their attitudes and style put everyone at ease, which made for some amazing photos.
I do not think I could pick just one photo as my favorite. Each time I look through the photos, I have some sort of emotional response. Every photo tells a story and I love every shot – even the ones which are not as flattering =).
